Lena Hollenstein currently works at the University of St.Gallen. Lena does research in early childhood education and teacher education in the areas of digital education, expectations and professional competence. Her current project as Principal Investigator is "DEEP Development - Teacher continuous professional development in a moving field: equitable and transversal digital education for children in the first years of primary school with role-play and robotics" and as Project Coordinator is "TCM - Professional competence of teachers for effective classroom management: Analysis of the relationship to learning opportunities during the transition from education to the teaching profession in regional contexts in Germany and Switzerland'. In previous work she has worked on gender-sensitive free play impulses for digital transformation in kindergartens (www.weplaythefuture.ch).
